Our website specialists do the work. Webby makes them quicker.
You do not build anything. One of our website specialists builds your website, goes through it with you and gets it live, then stays with you afterwards for changes and improvements as your business develops.
They have been building websites for over 20 years, so they know what gets you found on Google, what turns a visitor into an enquiry, and what to leave out. Webby does the groundwork for them, so their time goes on the part that needs a person. That is where the price comes from.

Websites for bands and musicians
What a band website has to do
People find a band after a gig, from a friend or from a festival line-up, and they go looking for three things: when you're playing next, what you sound like and how to book you.
So your site opens with your name over a photo of a stage, and the next button is See live dates. Your dates come next, then your photos, then the ways to get involved: see you live, take the merch home or book you for an event. Promoters, venues and couples get a booking form of their own.
Getting found by fans and by the people who book bands
Fans search for your name, so your site needs to be the first thing that comes up, ahead of an old social page. Promoters and couples search differently, for a wedding band, a function band or live music for a party in their area.
You get a page for each kind of booking you want more of, from weddings to corporate events, written around those words. Titles, descriptions, a sitemap and structured data go in when the site is built, so a search engine can see who you are and what you play.
Your live dates, tickets and merch
Your coming dates go on the site with the venue and the town, and each one links to wherever its tickets are sold. If you sell tickets, the main button on the site reads Get tickets.
When a new date is announced, you send your website specialist the details and the ticket link, and it goes up. If you sell merch, the site links to where you sell it.
How your band website gets built
Answer a few questions about the act, where you're from and how you want people to book you. A homepage design comes back in under five minutes, with your live dates section already in it, and you see it first. No card needed.
Then one of our website specialists finishes it with you. That's your story, your photos, your dates and your ticket links, checked on a phone and a laptop, then live on your own domain. They stay on afterwards, so a new date or a new photo is just a message. You pay nothing until the site goes live.
What happens when somebody wants to book you
Your booking form asks what a promoter or a couple would tell you on the phone: the date, the venue or event, and roughly how many people. It lands in your email within seconds.
With the customer hub add-on it lands in your hub too, with a status you can set as you talk it through, so a wedding enquiry from March doesn't get lost by the time the season starts.
Bands and musicians ask us
Can the site sell our tickets?
Each date links to wherever its tickets are sold, and if you sell tickets the main button on the site reads Get tickets. Send your website specialist the link for each date and they add it.
How do new dates go up?
Send your website specialist the date, the venue, the town and the ticket link, and it goes on the site. There's nothing for you to log in to.
We play weddings too. Can the site sell that?
Yes. A page for weddings and private events, with what you play, how long you play for and how to ask about a date, answers what couples search for. Booking enquiries come to you through the form.
We haven't written anything about the band yet.
That's fine. The preview shows a clear placeholder where your story goes. Your website specialist asks you about the line-up, how you started and what you sound like, and writes it up with you.
Do we need a Google rating on the site?
No. A band's site doesn't carry a rating or a list of selling points. It leads with your name, your dates and your photos, and keeps the booking form for the people who want to hire you.
Can we link to our music?
Yes. Links to where people can listen go on the site, so somebody who has just found you can hear you before they buy a ticket or book you.
I'm a solo musician, not a band.
It works the same for a solo act, a duo, a DJ or a comedian. The site speaks as you, and the booking form and the live dates work the same way.
How long until my website is live?
Complete your brief and we launch within 3 to 5 working days. Most bands and musicians are live within a week of signing up.
When do I start paying?
On the day your website goes live, and your 12-month term starts from then. You enter card details at signup, but nothing is charged before launch. If your site is ready and we do not hear from you for 14 days, we take the first payment, so your website specialist's work is not left sitting there. You can still go live whenever you are ready.
Is this a template?
No. Everything is built from scratch for your business: your words written, your logo and colours designed, your homepage laid out. One of our website specialists finishes the site with you before it goes live.
Do I need a card to see the design?
No. Answer a few questions and you will see a homepage design for your business in under five minutes. There is nothing to download, nothing to set up, and no card until you decide to go ahead.
Can I have a page for each job I do?
Yes, for the jobs you want more of. Tell your website specialist which those are. Each one gets its own page, written to be found for the words people type when they need it. Every plan includes up to 10, one for each service you offer, and you can ask for a new one from your portal at any time.
