What a barber shop website has to do
Most barber shops run on walk ins and a phone that rings while you're halfway through a fade. A website can take the appointment for you at eight in the evening, from a phone, with nobody in the shop.
So online booking goes in the middle of the site. You set the chairs, the barbers, the services and how long each one takes, and customers book into what's left. Around it go your prices, your opening hours and photos of the cuts you do.
Getting found for barbering in your area
Barber near me is the obvious search. Skin fade, beard trim, hot towel shave, kids cuts and barber open Sunday bring in somebody who's already decided what they want.
You get a page for each service you want more of, written around those words, with your own photos on it. The titles, descriptions, sitemap and structured data go in when the site is built, so a search engine can see what you do, where you are and when you're open.
Prices, barbers and the walk in question
A price list is one of the first things a new customer looks for. Yours gets a page of its own, by service. Your website specialist keeps it up to date, so when a price changes you send a message and that's it.

We take walk ins. Does a booking system get in the way?
No. Plenty of shops take both, and the site says so plainly. You choose how many slots to open for booking and keep the rest of the day for whoever walks in.
Can I put my price list on it?
Yes, on a page of its own, by service. Your website specialist keeps it up to date, so a price change is just a message to them.
What do I need for the booking system?
The customer hub add-on. The booking system and your enquiries live in it, and Google review requests are coming soon. It's monthly with no minimum term.
Can I ask customers for reviews?
Soon. Google review requests are coming to the customer hub, so after a cut you'll be able to send one in a couple of taps.
Can somebody book a particular barber?
Yes, by name. Each barber can have their own hours and their own prices. If the customer doesn't mind who cuts their hair, they can take the next slot with anybody.
Can I put kids and student prices on it?
Yes. Every price you charge can go on the list, and your website specialist changes them whenever they move. It saves somebody asking at the door.
Can the site say where to park?
Yes, and it's worth doing. Parking and which door to use are two things people ring up to ask, so your website specialist puts both on the page with your hours.
How long until my website is live?
Complete your brief and we launch within 3 to 5 working days. Most barbers are live within a week of signing up.
When do I start paying?
On the day your website goes live. You enter card details at signup, but nothing is charged before launch. If your site is ready and we do not hear from you for 14 days, we take the first payment, so your website specialist's work is not left sitting there. You can still go live whenever you are ready.
