Built around what people actually type.

Nobody searches for a trade on its own. They search for the job and the town, so that is what your pages are written around.

  • carpenter in [your town]
  • fitted wardrobes [your town]
  • kitchen fitting [your town]
  • bespoke staircase [your town]
  • alcove shelving [your town]
  • door hanging [your town]
  • garden office build [your town]
  • joiner near me

And the pages behind them

Tell your expert which jobs matter most, and those are the ones the pages go after.

Four ways to get a website

Three of them cost you time, money or both. The fourth is My Webby.

The time consuming way

Do it yourself

Cheap to start, costly in evenings

  • Weeks of your spare time learning a site builder
  • A template that looks like a thousand other sites
  • Nobody to call when something breaks
  • Nothing done to get you found on Google
The expensive way

A traditional agency

Lovely work, eye-watering bill

  • Thousands up front, before you have seen a thing
  • Weeks or months before it goes live
  • Meetings, revisions and waiting on replies
  • More website than most small businesses need
The uninformed way

A generic AI website tool

Quick, but you are on your own

  • It builds what you type, not what your customers need
  • Nobody checks it loads fast, reads well or ranks on Google
  • Looks fine to you, but not to a designer or your customers
  • No human to fix it when it goes wrong
The better way

My Webby

AI speed, human finish, small business price

  • Real designs for your business in under five minutes
  • Nothing to pay until your website is live
  • Built and looked after by our experts
  • Agency quality at a fraction of the price

Our experts do the work. Webby makes them quicker.

You do not build anything. One of our experts builds your website, goes through it with you and gets it live, then stays with you afterwards for changes and improvements as your business develops.

They have been building websites for over 20 years, so they know what gets you found on Google, what turns a visitor into an enquiry, and what to leave out. Webby does the groundwork for them, so their time goes on the part that needs a person. That is where the price comes from.

Expertise. Quality. Value. Guaranteed.

Your enquiries, bookings and reviews in one place

Starter Plus and Growth come with a customer hub in your portal. Messages land in an inbox with a status, customers book a time online from the hours you set, and you can ask for a review in seconds.

See how the customer hub works

Websites for carpenters and joiners

What a carpentry website has to do

Carpentry covers a lot of ground, and the person searching has one job in mind. Fitted wardrobes, a staircase, a set of kitchen units, decking, or a set of doors hung properly. Your website has to show them the thing they came for within a few seconds of landing.

So the work you want more of gets a page each, with your own photographs on it. Around that go the things somebody weighs up before they ring a joiner: whether you make things yourself or fit what they buy, roughly what a job like theirs costs, and how far you travel.

Getting found for joinery work in your area

Fitted wardrobes, bespoke shelving, staircases, kitchen fitting and decking are all separate searches, and they come with a town or a postcode attached. A single page listing carpentry services will not match any of them well.

Your site is built round those phrases instead, a page at a time, on the jobs you actually want. Titles, descriptions, the sitemap and structured data go in when it is built, so a search engine can work out what you make and where you work. The Growth plan adds an article a week that links back into those pages.

Showing what you make

Joinery sells on the photographs more than on the words. A wall of fitted wardrobes, a staircase going in, a kitchen you built rather than assembled. Your expert sorts what you send into galleries by type of job, so somebody after an alcove unit sees alcove units.

If you make things to order, say so and say how it works: a visit, a drawing, a price, a date. People who have never commissioned anything before are usually asking how the process runs, and answering it on the page saves you the same phone call twice a week.

How your carpentry website gets built

You answer a few questions about your business, the work you want more of and the areas you cover. Two homepage designs come back in under five minutes. You look at them before anything else happens, with no card and nothing to install.

Then one of our website experts finishes it with you: your photographs, your words, your services, checked on a phone and a laptop, then live on your own domain. They stay with you afterwards, so adding a job you are proud of is a message rather than a job of work. You pay nothing until the site goes live.

What happens when somebody gets in touch

You quote made to order work from measurements and a picture of the space, so the form asks for both. Your expert can have it ask the room, the rough sizes, whether there is anything awkward like a sloped ceiling or a chimney breast, and what finish they have in mind.

The enquiry comes to your email as it is sent, and to your customer hub on Starter Plus and Growth. Because this work is often booked weeks out, the status against each one is worth using: you can see who is waiting on a drawing, who has said yes, and who went quiet after a price.

What your expert will ask you for

None of this is needed to see your designs. It is what one of our experts goes through with you afterwards, while they are finishing the site, so it is worth knowing what is coming.

  • Photographs of pieces you have made, ideally finished and installed
  • Your public liability certificate
  • Which woods, finishes and hardware you normally work with
  • How long a typical wardrobe or kitchen takes you, start to finish
  • How far ahead you are usually booked

Carpenters and joiners ask us

More on what it costs is on the pricing page, and more on what happens after you sign up is on how it works.

Will it rank for "carpenter near me"?

Your site launches with a page for each of your main jobs, written around the phrases people type, plus the titles, descriptions, structured data and sitemap a search engine reads. Where you land depends on your area and your competition, so the Growth plan keeps publishing new content every week.

I do everything from door hanging to fitted kitchens. Can the site cover that?

It can, and it is worth picking. Every plan includes three service pages, so start with the three jobs you want more of and add others whenever you like. Your expert will tell you what an extra page costs on your plan before you decide.

Can I show a gallery of things I have made?

Yes. Send your expert the photographs and they will sort them into galleries by type of job, so a wardrobe enquiry sees wardrobes rather than decking.

People always ask how a made to order job works. Can that go on the site?

Yes, and it is one of the more useful pages you can have. Your expert will write out the steps the way you actually run them, from the first visit to the fitting date.

How much of my time does this take?

About two minutes to answer the questions, then your expert does the building and rings you when it is ready. Most carpenters are live within a week of signing up.

Which plan should I start on?

Starter suits most joiners: the website, three service pages, your domain and a business email address. Starter Plus adds the customer hub, so enquiries and review requests sit in one place.

Can the form ask for measurements and a photo?

Yes. For fitted work it is the difference between a phone call and a price, so your expert puts in whatever you would ask: the room, the sizes, the ceiling, and a picture of the space as it is.

Can I show lead times on the site?

Yes, if you want to. Some joiners put a rough one on, some would rather talk about it. Tell your expert which and they write it either way.

Should wardrobes and kitchens be separate pages?

Yes. They are different searches, different budgets and often different customers. Each gets a page written around its own words, and your expert links them for the people pricing up both.

Can I show the finishes and hardware I use?

Yes. Send your expert the ranges and makes you normally work with and they go on the relevant page, because plenty of people search for the finish before they search for a joiner.

How long until my website is live?

Complete your brief and we launch within 3–5 working days. Most carpenters and joiners are live within a week of signing up.

When do I start paying?

On the day your website goes live, and your 12-month term starts from then. You enter card details at signup, but nothing is charged before launch. If your site is ready and we do not hear from you for 14 days, we charge the first month, so your expert's work is not left sitting there. You can still go live whenever you are ready.

Is this a template?

No. Everything is built from scratch for your business: your words written, your logo and colours designed, your homepage laid out. Webby does that groundwork and one of our experts finishes the site with you before it goes live.

Do I need a card to see the designs?

No. Answer a few questions and you will see a homepage design for your business in under five minutes. Webby does the groundwork, so it takes minutes instead of weeks. There is nothing to download, nothing to set up, and no card until you decide to go ahead.

Can I have a page for each job I do?

Yes, for the jobs you want more of. Tell your expert which those are. Each one gets its own page, written to be found for the words people type when they need it. Every plan includes three to start with and you can add more from your portal at any time. The pricing page has the cost.
