Our website specialists do the work. Webby makes them quicker.

You do not build anything. One of our website specialists builds your website, goes through it with you and gets it live, then stays with you afterwards for changes and improvements as your business develops.

They have been building websites for over 20 years, so they know what gets you found on Google, what turns a visitor into an enquiry, and what to leave out. Webby does the groundwork for them, so their time goes on the part that needs a person. That is where the price comes from.

Expertise. Quality. Value. Guaranteed.

Add the customer hub to your website and it lives in your portal.

Websites for restaurants

What a restaurant website has to do

Most people decide where to eat on a phone, often an hour before they go. They want to see the food, read the menu, check you're open tonight and book a table, and they want to do it in under a minute.

So your site leads with a photo of your food and a Book a table button. Your menu has a page of its own, linked from the top of every screen. Your opening hours, your address and where to park sit where people look for them, not at the bottom of an about page.

Getting found when people search for somewhere to eat

People type restaurants near me, Italian restaurant in a town, Sunday lunch near me or somewhere to eat with a private room. They also ask Google and AI assistants for the best place for a birthday meal.

You get a page for each thing you want more of, from Sunday lunch to private dining and set menus, written around those words. Titles, descriptions, a sitemap and structured data go in when the site is built, so a search engine can see what you serve, where you are and when you're open.

Your menu, on its own page

The menu is the page most people open first. Yours gets a page of its own, set out the way you print it, with your prices and your dietary marks, and it's linked as Menu at the top of every screen.

When the menu changes, you send your website specialist the new one, as a PDF, a photo of the printed menu or a list, and they update the page. A specials board or a seasonal menu can have a page of its own too.

How your restaurant website gets built

Answer a few questions about the restaurant, the food you serve and when you're open. A homepage design comes back in under five minutes, with a Book a table button and a Menu link already in it, and you see it first. No card needed.

Then one of our website specialists finishes it with you. That's your photos, your menu page, your opening hours and how you take bookings, checked on a phone and a laptop, then live on your own domain. They stay on afterwards, so a new menu or new hours is just a message. You pay nothing until the site goes live.

What happens when somebody books a table

A guest picks a day, a time and how many people, and leaves a name and a number or an email. The request lands with you straight away, says how many are coming, and you confirm it. They get an email either way.

If you'd rather take bookings by phone, the site says so and puts your number on every screen. Either way, questions about dietary needs, children, dogs and private hire are answered on the site, so fewer people need to ring to ask.

Restaurants ask us

How do table bookings work?

A guest picks a day, a time and how many people, and the request comes to you to confirm. They get an email when you do. The booking system is part of the customer hub add-on, which is monthly with no minimum term.

Can I put my whole menu on it?

Yes, on a page of its own with your prices and dietary marks, linked from the top of every screen. Send your website specialist the menu in whatever form you have it and they set it out.

How do I change the menu when the season changes?

Send the new one to your website specialist, as a PDF, a photo or a list, and they update the page. There's nothing for you to log in to.

We only take bookings by phone. Is that all right?

Yes. The site says so, and your number goes on every screen in place of the booking button. You can add online booking later if you change your mind.

Can the site show our allergen information?

Yes. Your dietary marks go on the menu page, and the site can say how to ask about allergies before you visit. Your website specialist uses only what you give them, so check it before it goes live.

Can we have a page for private dining?

Yes, and it's worth having if you want more of that work. Party bookings and private hire are searched for on their own, so a page with your room, how many it seats and how to ask about it answers the search.

Will people find us on Google Maps?

The Google Maps add-on helps you show up on the map when people search for somewhere to eat nearby. Your website and your Google profile then say the same thing about your hours and your address.

Can I use my own photos of the food?

Yes, and they work much better than stock photos. Send your website specialist the photos you have and they choose the best for each page. If you have none yet, the site launches with good stand-ins you can swap later.

How long until my website is live?

Complete your brief and we launch within 3 to 5 working days. Most restaurants are live within a week of signing up.

When do I start paying?

On the day your website goes live, and your 12-month term starts from then. You enter card details at signup, but nothing is charged before launch. If your site is ready and we do not hear from you for 14 days, we take the first payment, so your website specialist's work is not left sitting there. You can still go live whenever you are ready.

Is this a template?

No. Everything is built from scratch for your business: your words written, your logo and colours designed, your homepage laid out. One of our website specialists finishes the site with you before it goes live.

Do I need a card to see the design?

No. Answer a few questions and you will see a homepage design for your business in under five minutes. There is nothing to download, nothing to set up, and no card until you decide to go ahead.

Can I have a page for each job I do?

Yes, for the jobs you want more of. Tell your website specialist which those are. Each one gets its own page, written to be found for the words people type when they need it. Every plan includes up to 10, one for each service you offer, and you can ask for a new one from your portal at any time.
