Websites for content creators

What a content creator website has to do

A brand deciding whether to work with you opens your site before it writes. It wants to see your best work, who you make it for and whether you can do what it needs, all without scrolling through a feed.

So your site is your portfolio. Your strongest pieces go at the front, grouped by what a brand might ask for, with your rates or your packages and a plain way to get in touch beside them.

Getting found for the work you want more of

Local businesses search for a content creator, a social media content creator, product photography or short form video for their shop, and many type a town on the end. Others look for a UGC creator or someone who can make reels for a restaurant or salon.

You get a page for each kind of work you want more of, written around those words. The titles, descriptions, sitemap and structured data go in when the site is built, so a search engine can see what you make and who you make it for.

What brands want to see before they get in touch

Brands want examples close to what they need, a clear list of what you deliver and how long it takes, and some idea of cost. They also want to know you will follow the rules on advertising, including labelling paid posts clearly, as the Advertising Standards Authority expects.

Your services, your turnaround, the kinds of brand you have worked with and how you handle usage rights go on the page. If you are a sole trader, your business name is on there too. A brand that finds all of that writes with a proper brief.

How your portfolio website gets built

Answer a few questions about what you make, who you make it for and how you like to work. A homepage design comes back in under five minutes. You look at it first, with no card and nothing to install.

Then one of our website specialists builds it out with you: your best work in galleries, your services and packages, your story and your enquiry form, checked on a phone and a laptop, then live on your own domain. After that, adding a new piece of work is a message to them. You pay nothing until the site goes live.

What happens when a brand gets in touch

The enquiry form asks what you need to know before you reply: who they are, what they want made, where it will be used and when they need it. It can ask for a budget range if you want one.

The enquiry lands in your email within seconds. With the customer hub add-on it lands in your hub too, with a status you can set to contacted, won or lost, so a brief that arrives while you are filming does not get buried.

Content creators ask us

Will it actually rank for "content creator near me"?

Your site launches with a page for each kind of work you want more of, written around what businesses type. We put the technical bits in too: titles, descriptions, structured data and a sitemap, so Google can see what you make and where you work. Where you end up depends on your area and your competition. The SEO and AI search add-on keeps adding new content every week, and it builds over months, not days. Google Maps helps you show up on the map, and Google Ads puts you at the top for businesses looking now.

I already get work through my socials. Why do I need a website?

A website is yours whatever happens to the apps. A business that searches for a content creator finds a page it can read, with your work, your services and a form, and the enquiry comes straight to you. It works alongside whatever else you use.

Can I show different kinds of work on one site?

Yes. Short form video, product photography and UGC each get their own page, so a business looking for one kind sees examples of that and not a mix. Tell your website specialist which you want more of and they'll put it first.

Can I put my rates on the site?

Yes, if you want to. You can show full prices, starting prices for each package or no prices at all. Many businesses will not write without some idea of cost, so a starting price often brings in better enquiries than none.

Can the site say how I handle paid partnerships?

Yes. Paid and gifted work has to be labelled clearly under the advertising rules, and you can say on the site that you do that. Your website specialist can add a short line about it, and your usage rights and licensing terms, to your services page.

Can brands pay a deposit or sign my contract on the site?

Taking payment or signatures on the site is a bespoke build, so it isn't part of the standard plans. Tell us what you need and we'll talk it through with you.

Can I add new work as I go?

Yes. Send your website specialist the new pieces and a line about each and they'll put them on the right page. It's a change request. You get one free every month after launch, and any more are £49.99 each, shown before you confirm.

What should a creator who works alone start with?

The website. You get a site built around your portfolio, with a page for each kind of work and your own domain, and a business email address is added per mailbox. Add the customer hub when you want your enquiries and their deadlines in one place. Review requests are coming soon.

How long until my website is live?

Complete your brief and we launch within 3 to 5 working days. Most content creators are live within a week of signing up.

When do I start paying?

On the day your website goes live. You enter card details at signup, but nothing is charged before launch. If your site is ready and we do not hear from you for 14 days, we take the first payment, so your website specialist's work is not left sitting there. You can still go live whenever you are ready.

Is this a template?

No. Everything is built from scratch for your business: your words written, your logo and colours designed, your homepage laid out. One of our website specialists finishes the site with you before it goes live.

Do I need a card to see the design?

No. Answer a few questions and you will see a homepage design for your business in under five minutes. There is nothing to download, nothing to set up, and no card until you decide to go ahead.

Can I have a page for each job I do?

Yes, for the jobs you want more of. Tell your website specialist which those are. Each one gets its own page, written to be found for the words people type when they need it. Every plan includes up to 10, one for each service you offer, and you can ask for a new one from your portal at any time.
